Tuedays Child

Robert Chetcuti has been playing classical music
form the tender age of five, and at fourteen, started playing keyboards
and synthesizers.
By the time he had reached sixteen years of age, he had produced
his first dance music track and two years later he won the Korg
Jazz keyboard competition in his native country , Malta ! The final
heat took place at the London Hippodrome
where Robert was then placed twelfth in the world !
The next decade proved to be a major success as Robert went on
to become one half of the Rhythm Masters. They went on to become
the number one remix team of 1996 , start up the credible and underground
label ' Dis-funktional Recordings ' and 2002 saw the release
of their first album entitled ' Disconnect your head ' on Neo
and Tommy Boy USA .
After a decade of endless touring, re-mixing and Djing, Robert
decided to set himself yet another challenge in the form of a solo
career in which he could utilise his talents more freely . Currently
Robert is producing fresh material for his two new record labels
which he runs with his partner Clara Da Costa,'
Green Turtle Recordings & Dopamine Recordings . Both labels
have had releases in 2003 with his debut Tuesdays Child track '
King Of The Jungle ' on Dopamine Recordings , which he also performs
his own vocals ! With great buzz chart positions and support from
Radio 1 and Capital fm, TUESDAYS CHILD is firmly on the map as
a new producer / act.
TUESDAYS CHILD has just returned from a mini tour in Ibiza where
he performed all his new material along with a live keyboard
set leaving many clubbers with there mouths wide open! His
Dj sets
have to be seen to be believed, it really is something quite
unique!
Now back in the Uk , he is firmly back in the studio where he
is currently producing new hip-hop band ' Bad Newz ' from Miami
.
An album is under way and is set to make a huge impact on the
UK hip-hop scene . Other than that , you can keep your eyes open
for more of his champion house releases on his labels Green turtle
and Dopamine recordings (greenturtlerecordings.com).He is even
working on his solo album, which is a live based album.
You can also check out his monster re-mixes on Def Jam (Soul),
of Dru Hill and Daniel Bedingfield (that is if you can manage
to get hold of a copy)
In the mean time if you are lucky, you can catch him at selected
clubs showing off his fantastic wizardry keyboard techniques
combined with the good old-fashioned two decks and a mixer.
Producing a
show of pure entertainment, talent and amazing originality.
TUESDAYS CHILD is a star in his own right, set to join the ranks
of other
major solo artists in the dance music industry. It's only a matter
of time before everyone is talking about it!
